Peak, visor and chin bar serve different purposes
AGV describes four configurations using the adjustable peak and removable visor. Changing those parts can be useful when a route involves different needs, but it must follow the model's instructions. The listing links the AX9 manual and safety instructions.
Removing the visor or peak does not establish P/J dual approval. That marking relates to chin-bar protection configurations. SHARP's explanation distinguishes fixed-chin-bar adventure helmets from modular designs. We do not describe the AX9 as a flip-front or promise that removing a part preserves every protective configuration.
What to try before buying
Our choice would depend on how it works with your equipment: try visibility with your glasses, visor and strap operation, and the space needed for your intercom. Communication preparation does not mean the module is included.
For extensive motorway use, we would also compare a road full-face such as the K6 S. We have not measured which model is quieter or more comfortable: the reason to compare is whether you actually need the peak and adventure configurations. For trail riding, check the eye protection and mounting arrangements allowed by the manual.

Qué versión estamos consultando
La ficha oficial española del AX9 Mono Matt Carbon E2206 publica homologación ECE 22.06, cierre de doble anilla y una calota de carbono, fibra aramídica y fibra de vidrio. No extrapolamos esos datos a cualquier AX9 de otra generación o mercado.
En el apartado de peso, AGV indica 1.365 g en la primera talla de calota únicamente para la versión AX9 Carbon. Ese dato condicionado no equivale al peso de todas las tallas o variantes. Comprobaríamos la referencia y talla concretas antes de compararlo con otro casco.
Pico, pantalla y mentonera: funciones distintas
AGV describe cuatro configuraciones mediante el pico regulable y la pantalla extraíbles. La posibilidad de cambiar esas piezas tiene interés si tu ruta combina necesidades diferentes, pero debe usarse siguiendo las instrucciones del modelo. En la ficha están enlazados el manual AX9 y las instrucciones de seguridad.
Desmontar la pantalla o el pico no acredita doble homologación P/J. Esa marca se refiere a configuraciones de protección de la mentonera. La explicación de SHARP ayuda a distinguir un adventure de mentonera fija de un modular. No presentamos el AX9 como un abatible ni prometemos que retirar una pieza conserve cualquier configuración de protección.
Qué probar antes de comprarlo
