About MotoGear Europe
MotoGear Europe is an independent online magazine about motorcycle gear: helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, airbags and intercoms. We publish reviews, comparisons, buying guides and news on the brands sold in Europe, in English and Spanish.

- Reviews of specific models, with a verdict and, where appropriate, an editorial score under our published scoring methodology.
- Comparisons and buying guides by use and budget: which helmet for touring, which glove for winter, which boot for adventure riding.
- Brand pages covering each brand's current range, official prices and who each model is for.
- News and regulations: new collections, shows like EICMA and legal changes that affect riding gear.
How we work
Every article starts from verifiable sources: the manufacturer's website and spec sheet, homologation documents (ECE 22.06, EN 17092, FIM...) and the official euro price on the publication date. From there we compare each product against its direct rivals on price and intended use.
We don't run road or lab tests, and we don't imply that we do: when a figure comes from a third-party test, we cite it. The full criteria are in our editorial policy.
The editorial team
Articles are signed by the MotoGear Europe Editorial Team. Behind it is Alex, the site's editor, who decides what we cover, reviews every article before it goes live and handles corrections and reader questions.
How the site is funded
MotoGear Europe is free to read. Advertising is a planned source of funding and is not active yet. When introduced, ads will be separate from editorial content and advertisers will not decide what we publish.
Brands don't pay to be featured or choose which products we cover. We don't use affiliate links. If a brand ever lends us a product or works with us, we'll say so in the article itself.
