Fibreglass shell, 6 shell sizes and 1,500 g
The shell is HPFC (High Performance Fibreglass Composite), a fibreglass and organic resin laminate, moulded in 6 shell sizes (from XXS-XS to XXL-3XL-4XL) so the fit scales with head size instead of padding out a couple of oversized shells. On the scale it comes in at 1,500 g ± 50 g (LS2 official spec, confirmed by FC-Moto's own listing) — correct for a fibreglass full-face at this price, though a step above the 1,300 g ± 50 g of the Vector II Carbon version, which triples the price.
Visor and sun visor
The main visor is Class A polycarbonate with a wide field of vision, UV380 protection and a quick-release system for cleaning or replacement. It ships Pinlock Max Vision ready and includes the insert in the box, unusual at this price point where many rivals sell it as an accessory. It also has an integrated drop-down sun visor, operated with an external slider, anti-fog and distortion-free.
Ventilation and interior
Ventilation covers chin and top air intakes plus rear extractors, with channelled EPS and a breath deflector to cut visor fogging. The liner is removable and washable X-Static fabric, hypoallergenic and moisture-wicking, with laser-cut multi-density padding. It includes an EQRS emergency release system for the cheek pads and is ready for LS2's own 4X Bluetooth communication systems.
ECE 22.06 and metal buckle
Homologation is ECE 22.06, the current European standard, with multi-density EPS, a metal safety plate and a micrometric metal ratchet buckle — no D-ring fiddling.
